Hello,

This week I wrote a review of Sarah Ruden’s recent Gospels book, which I mentioned in my email last week. In it, I try to explain why different translations matter, and why I found this one particularly interesting. I’d like to read more translations and compare them, but first I need to read more translated literature for the first time… reply or comment with any suggestions!

First is Sam Enright’s Beginner’s Guide to Miles Davis, which is an extensive and insightful biography/highlights reel of the jazz trumpeter. With an accompanying Spotify playlist!
